Rachael Dioguardi, Esq.
Rachael Dioguardi received her Juris Doctor from Touro Law in 2007. She began her legal career at a New York boutique law firm representing bankruptcy trustees in all aspects of case administration in the Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of New York. In 2011, Rachael transitioned to a solo practice while also serving as adjunct faculty at Touro Law Center and in the SCCC Paralegal Program. In 2015, Rachael joined the full-time faculty at Nassau Community College in the Legal Studies Program.
Rachel’s passion for helping families in special education law was sparked in 2021, when her daughter experienced an acute and severe onset of Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS). An often unknown and misdiagnosed disability, Rachael became a seasoned and knowledgeable educational advocate for her child.
Rachael has a deep respect for the importance of compassion, planning and common sense when educating students with disabilities. Her legal skills coupled with her experience as an educator and legal advocate for her own child enriches the firm’s purpose and mission. Rachel provides legal advisory services to parents at CSE meetings, due process hearings and disciplinary matters.
Rachael is also a certified yoga, breathwork and meditation teacher. She resides in Long Island, New York with her two children and husband.
